Tank Setup:

• Minimum 30 gallons for 1 fish.

• A lid is not essential but can be useful for other goldfish that are more likely to jump.

• Gentle filter, avoid strong currents.

Water Parameters:

• Temperature: 65–75°F (18–24°C).

• pH: 7.0–8.4.

• Ammonia, nitrite: 0 ppm, nitrate: <20 ppm.

• Perform 20-30% water changes weekly.

Feeding:

• Feed once a day in small amounts.

• Offer only as much as they can eat in 2-3 minutes.

• Feed high-quality pellets or flakes, with occasional treats like bloodworms or veggies.

Tankmates:

• Best kept with other peaceful goldfish.

• Avoid fast or aggressive fish that might outcompete them for food.

• May unintentionally harm smaller fish as they grow large.

Health and Maintenance:

• Watch for swim bladder issues and fin rot.

• Keep water clean and avoid overfeeding.
