Juncus Repens

Light:
Provide moderate light for 8 hours daily. Avoid low light to prevent leggy growth.

Temperature:
Best in 68-82°F (20-28°C). It thrives in tropical conditions.

Water Conditions:
pH: 6.0-8.0 (neutral to slightly alkaline).
Hardness: Soft to moderately hard water.
Water Flow: Moderate current.

Substrate:
Use fine gravel or nutrient-rich substrate. Plant roots just deep enough to anchor.

CO2 & Fertilization:
Juncus repens grows fine without extra CO2, but will grow better with it. Add liquid or root fertilizer every 2-4 weeks.

Pruning & Maintenance:
Trim any yellowing or dead leaves. You can cut and replant runners to propagate.

Tankmates:
Compatible with most peaceful fish, shrimp, and snails. Avoid bottom-dwellers that might uproot it.

Common Issues:

• Yellowing leaves: Check water conditions and nutrients.
• Leggy growth: Increase light intensity if needed.
• Algae: Control with regular water changes and proper lighting.
