Gold Severum

Tank Size: Provide a spacious tank of at least 75 gallons for a single Gold Severum, with additional space for each additional Severum. They can grow quite large.

Water Parameters: Maintain stable conditions with a temperature range of 75-84°F (24-29°C), a pH level of 6.0-7.5, and soft to moderately hard water.

Filtration: Use powerful filtration to ensure excellent water quality and strong water movement. Gold Severums are messy eaters and produce waste.

Aquascape: Create an environment with a mix of live or artificial plants, driftwood, and rocks. Gold Severums appreciate hiding places and open swimming areas.

Tank Mates: They are generally peaceful and can coexist with other medium to large, non-aggressive cichlids and compatible community fish.

Diet: Gold Severums are omnivores and accept a diet that includes high-quality pellets, flakes, and a variety of live or frozen foods such as worms, insects, and plant matter.
