Blue Bolt Shrimp

Tank Size: Provide a small aquarium of 5-10 gallons for a group of Blue Bolt Shrimp.

Water Parameters: Maintain stable water conditions with a temperature range of 68-78°F (20-26°C), a pH level of 6.2-7.2, and very soft to moderately hard water.

Filtration: Gentle filtration is essential as strong currents can harm these delicate shrimp. Use a sponge filter or similar equipment.

Aquascape: Create a well-planted tank with hiding spots, driftwood, and rocks. Shrimp thrive in environments with plenty of biofilm and algae.

Tank Mates: Blue Bolt Shrimp are best kept in species-only setups to prevent interbreeding and are sensitive to potential predators.

Diet: They are primarily herbivores, grazing on algae and detritus. Supplement their diet with high-quality shrimp pellets or blanched vegetables.
