Don't forget these...

  1. Tank Size: A 10-20 gallon tank is suitable for a single Red Claw Crab.

  2. Water Parameters: a. Temperature: Maintain water temperature around 75-82°F (24-28°C). b. Salinity: Maintain low-end brackish water conditions with a specific gravity of around 1.005-1.008. c. pH Level: Keep the pH level between 7.5-8.5.

  3. Filtration: Use a gentle filter to maintain water quality and provide slow water movement, as Red Claw Crabs prefer still to slow-moving water.

  4. Decor: Create an aquatic and terrestrial habitat with driftwood, rocks, and a combination of underwater and above-water hiding spots.

  5. Diet: Red Claw Crabs are omnivores. Feed them a varied diet, including high-quality pellets, sinking flakes, fresh vegetables, and occasional live or frozen foods.

  6. Tank Mates: Keep them singly or in a species-only setup. Red Claw Crabs can be territorial and may harm other inhabitants.
