  1. Tank Size: Provide a tank of at least 75-100 gallons or more for a group of Clown Loaches, as they can grow quite large.

  2. Water Parameters: Maintain stable conditions with a temperature range of 78-86°F (25-30°C), a pH level of 6.0-7.5, and soft to moderately hard water.

  3. Filtration: Effective filtration is crucial to maintain water quality and oxygenation. Clown Loaches produce a lot of waste.

  4. Aquascape: Create a well-decorated tank with hiding spots, driftwood, and rocks. They appreciate a substrate with soft sand or fine gravel.

  5. Tank Mates: Clown Loaches are social fish and do best when kept in a group of at least 3-5 individuals. They can coexist with other peaceful, non-aggressive community fish.

  6. Diet: They are omnivores, accepting high-quality flakes, pellets, live or frozen foods, and occasional vegetable matter. They enjoy foods like bloodworms, brine shrimp, and sinking pellets.
