Tank Size: Provide a small aquarium of at least 5-10 gallons for a group of Blue Velvet Shrimp.

Water Parameters: Maintain stable water conditions with a temperature range of 72-78°F (22-26°C), a pH level of 6.5-7.5, and soft to moderately hard water.

Filtration: Use gentle filtration to avoid harming the shrimp. Sponge filters or pre-filters on intakes work well.

Aquascape: Create a well-planted tank with hiding spots using live plants, moss, and driftwood. Provide moss or other surfaces for them to graze on.

Tank Mates: Blue Velvet Shrimp are best kept in species-only setups to prevent interbreeding and are sensitive to potential predators.

Diet: They are primarily herbivores, feeding on algae and detritus. Supplement their diet with high-quality shrimp pellets, blanched vegetables, and occasional protein-based foods.
