Mono Argentus

Tank Size: Provide a large tank of at least 75 gallons for Mono Argentus. They are fast swimmers and need plenty of space.

Water Parameters: Maintain stable conditions with a temperature range of 72-78°F (22-26°C), a pH level of 7.0-8.0, and moderately hard to hard water.

Filtration: Use strong filtration to ensure excellent water quality and oxygenation. Monos are sensitive to poor water conditions.

Aquascape: Decorate the tank with minimal plants, as Monos are primarily open-water fish. Provide driftwood, rocks, and open swimming spaces.

Tank Mates: Monos are generally peaceful but can be aggressive towards their own kind. They are best kept in groups of five or more to spread aggression and reduce stress.

Diet: They are carnivorous and require a diet of live or frozen foods like fish, shrimp, and insect larvae. They have specific dietary preferences and may be challenging to feed.
