Despite their small size, Emerald Dwarf Danios are lively swimmers and thrive in schools of six or more. Their peaceful temperament makes them ideal tank mates for other small community fish such as rasboras, tetras, and corydoras. These fish do best in well-oxygenated aquariums with gentle flow and plenty of hiding spaces.
