Diet
Omnivore – eats sinking pellets, algae wafers, and frozen foods like bloodworms. Needs soft, small food due to tiny mouth.
Behavior
Peaceful and shy. Needs hiding places. Often mistaken as aggressive due to appearance, but very calm.
Tank Setup
Brackish water, sandy substrate, driftwood or rocks for hiding. Low light preferred.
Tank Mates
Best with other peaceful brackish fish like mollies or knight gobies. Avoid aggressive or very small fish.
